A Poem in honor of Akira Toriyama

A cool wind bellows, across the rocks and land. Two Saiyans posed, poised for a final stand. An arrogant prince, but a proud father. A childish student, one who always pushed farther. A round fought once more, the outcome set to show. That once stands to learn, from every punch they throw. The fruits of training, will they now prove? Each action form reaction, who’s the first to move? A simple question, a bout between friends. Not even Toriyama knows, for he has set down his pens. Silence falls over the world, the mental gut punch to millions. May his legacy rest in peace, his works effected billions.

Rest in Peace- Akira Toriyama.

The impact your combined creative works has had on the lives of billions of people can boggle the mind. Between the relationships of Dragon Ball, to the striking designs of the Dragon Quest art- and to the characters in Chrono Trigger. The effect you had on my own life shaped part of who I am today and I will sorely miss your writing after Dragon Ball Daima.
